The upper floor is use both as a family space and as a work area. The space is functionally divided and the overall look is airy and bright. This look is emphasized by the use of while-painted walls and ceilings in combination with light floors, thus creating the impression of a larger space.
The living room shares an open floor plan with the kitchen and together they form a social space. It’s been furnished with a sofa and a TV unit on the opposite wall and adjacent to this space there’s also a dining table. It’s an area for socialization and interaction. Even though it’s not a very spacious area, the high ceilings help make the atmosphere more airy. The ceilings are also a beautiful architectural element specific to the building. The large windows bring in lots of natural light from two directions.
Some unmistakable industrial details can be seen in the home office which is a cozy room with this metal mesh wall unit. As before, the metal elements are complemented by warm wood details and the result is harmonious and elegant. This area also has two work spaces. It’s basically a single long and minimalist desk with two chairs facing the back wall.
The hallway is characterized by brick walls that create a rustic feel. It includes large wardrobes and practical storage units. The kitchen also has lots of storage cabinets. It features white tiles on the floor and dimmable lights and it also offers access to the balcony. It’s a large outdoor area with lots of fresh plants and comfortable chairs.
