Green remains widely popular these days. Not only the color, which we are seeing in every hue imaginable, but in the term – as in eco-friendly. As more and more manufacturers are looking to greener, more sustainable options to offer their clients and these luxe clients are delighted to have these options.
The back side of the house welcomes family with a terrace complete with a pond and a swimming pool, perfect for rare sunny days. Carefully exploring this powerful connection between inside and outside, architects imagined a covered terrace that makes this transition easier.
As a result, the home’s den, kitchen, dining and living rooms are all located on its street-facing northeast side, while the house’s three bedrooms span both levels of the building’s more secluded southwestern end.
This is not to say that a modern home cannot have pops of color or added character through decor. It is just that it needs to be done in a manner that adds to the architecture rather than takes away from it.
