The living room shares an open floor plan with the kitchen and together they form a social space. It’s been furnished with a sofa and a TV unit on the opposite wall and adjacent to this space there’s also a dining table. It’s an area for socialization and interaction. Even though it’s not a very spacious area, the high ceilings help make the atmosphere more airy. The ceilings are also a beautiful architectural element specific to the building. The large windows bring in lots of natural light from two directions.
Traditionally, only a modest amount of leather could be found in nordic styles, but the Scandinavian trend is now embracing more leather, especially distressed and repurposed styles. These upholstered dining chairs from Classic Home are a great example, with their simple silhouette, classic wooden legs and distressed, quilted leather design.
The kitchen is on the same floor as the living area. It occupies a long and narrow space which doesn’t offer too many options in terms of layout and decor. The use of neutral colors and wood elements once again pays off, giving the space a really refined and chic look.
The apartment further accommodates a large living area with a very bright and airy décor, wooden floors and freshly painted walls. The bedroom is large enough to accommodate a double bed, a large closet and a work area. It has south-facing windows facing the courtyard. The apartment also comes with a basement, perfect for storage, play areas, an office, a games room or guest area.
