Dinner can transform into a relaxing night outdoors as the temperature cools. The design included a boxy fire pit in the back of the property, the perfect spot to relocate to after dinner.
As a result, the home’s den, kitchen, dining and living rooms are all located on its street-facing northeast side, while the house’s three bedrooms span both levels of the building’s more secluded southwestern end.
According to the architects, the site is level and then drops away on a steep treed slope, bordering a golf course. The building stands out with its subtle palette of colors, resulting from a combination of stone, glass and aluminum.
Modern architecture has something for everyone. Even if your taste may veer towards the opposite side of the design spectrum (i.e. rustic country)— there are still elements of modern design that will appeal to you. Don’t believe it? After reading this article, you may change your mind.
